Pitch Types

Here at Brynawelon we have a variety of pitch types for you to choose from, all our pitches no matter what type allow for you to be able to park on your pitch and next to your unit, our pitches are allocated on a first come first served basis:

Fully Serviced Pitch

Suitable for touring caravans, motorhomes, camper vans & trailer tents, Brynawelons Fully Serviced Pitch comprises a level compacted hardstanding gravel base with grass surround.

The sizeable hardstanding area provides for a caravan/motorvan and full awning. A drinking water tap and grey water disposal point, all Fully Serviced Pitches have a 16 amp electric hookup point.

Overall Pitch Size = 33ft x 27.5ft (10m x 8.5m)
Hardstanding = 20ft x 15ft (6m x 4.5m)

All Weather Pitch (AWP)

Suitable for tents & trailer tents particularly, but equally suitable for caravans, Brynawelons All Weather Pitch provides a level rounded free draining pea shingle base with grass surround. Our AWPs have become extremely popular with campers, especially during times of adverse weather or longer stay campers.

The sizeable loose pea shingled area provides most sizes of Tunnel Tents, this type of pitch does not require any 'special' equipment, but from campers experience we recommend the use of metal pegs and maybe an extra groundsheet for extra comfort underfoot. All AWPs have 16amp electric hookup available.

Many have been scepticle of AWPS, but they have become the most popular pitch for tents at Brynawelon.

Grass Pitch

Suitable for all types of unit, Brynawelon has a few grassed pitches.

Our grass pitches are predominantly in the centre of Brynawelon, all grass pitches are 10mtrs by 8mtrs.

Some grass pitches have 16amp electric hookup available.

Whilst our pitches are clearly marked and bounderd we do have some 'supersize' pitches for those larger units. Should you be booking as a group we can open up pitches to provide a free camp area, subject to legal spacing requirements. Please advise at the time of booking.

We expect a Pitch to contain, your unit, car and any other equipment, bbqs, windbreaks etc, you may require to be contained within that pitch. Please note we do not have a seperate car park.
